what i think about school uniforms.

In school, one of the most important things is your style. The more you have, the more popular and noticed you will probably be. With uniforms, there's no discrimination because of what you're wearing. Everyone is united under the same style. Clothing often reflects who you are and who you socialize with. In most schools, there are groups of students who dress alike. All the jocks dress differently from the preps who have a different style from the punks. You may even avoid a particular person because of what they are wearing. Uniforms require students to get to know each other by finding out about who they really are. There are many styles of clothing, some appropriate for school and others not. Peers and the media pressure us to dress and look a certain way. Some clothing contains logos promoting drugs, alcohol or even violence. Midriff shirts, halters and mini skirts are advertised everywhere. Since students want to fit in and be cool, they want to wear this type of clothing. In most school systems, however, it is not allowed. Uniforms help eliminate these problems. All students look similar. They all fit in. There are no distractions. Uniforms allow students to concentrate on learning instead of what they are wearing. So this is what i think about uniforms.

looking foward to the future.

Everyone hopes that ten years in the future, after college is over, that they would be leading very successful lives in a career that follows the major that they studied in. I know it sounds like I’m about to to have a different vision of the future, but no, I hope as well that I too become a very successful person in my field. By the age of twenty-eight I hoping that I established a credible name for myself in the cosmotology world, and though working for seventeen magazine, or some big t.v show, movie developer sounds nice, I actually want to make something that i can relate to, something that i really want to do.What I would really like to do is create a  beauty shop of my own. Not something like an old barber shop that you see on tv shows or videos, but likes a cool and something that has an edgy tone that would appeal to pre-teen audiences to adults. My shop would have a following thing in it such as, splatted paint on the walls to make it look unique and lava lamp, and things like that.,  What I noticed was through budget restraints and just the pure limits of building and opening your own shop, is that some of the more down town shops seem to fall just short of delivering the cool hair and make up experience that big budget Hollywood shops and runways do. I feel that the shop that I’m planning on creating would deliver a the best every week to my customers everywhere without having to worry too much about dose my hair look good or is my make up fine, they wont half to worry about any of that and wont need a second opinion on what they look like, because they came to me.

So this week is going pretty good, theres nothing that i can complain about today. There has been no arguments or miss understandings between me or anyone i know. But today ante over so i guess theres allot of things that could happen between now and time to go to bed. Lets just hope today goes smoothly as earlier. had some good news, and no bad news so far. Today couldn't be more amazing. So i think when i get home today I'm going to take my step little brother and sister to the park and let them hang out there for a little bit because they haven't been out of the house in a wile sense there mom had surgery. After the park i think that we could all go ride the four wheelers or go fishing or something be for it gets to cold to go at all.  My older brother had just got a full ride to collage, and my other brother is turning eighteen in four month's and is already planning the party, but i guess its a big step for him, Mom is Christmas shopping and dad and his girlfriend is doing i don't know what today, and for me Well I'm at school, In class. Yep today has been OK.

scarry monster

 So the scariest monster that i could think of is, A witch like the one on the wizard of oz, but with red eyes instead of green, and has a curvier nose, and her body looks like a troll with moles all over her. Also the moster with have cracked yellow and black teeth, Instead of riding a broom she drives a Chevy, and has long fungicide fingernails that looks like they never been washed.. The monster will talk in a low deep voice instead of a high pitched sound. She will glow red when she gets man and wheres a black coat with nasty little bugs all over it. She will live in a castle under the ground and will only show her true colors in the knight, she feeds off of children's fear, just hearing them cry makes her stronger. But there is on thing she is scared of  clown, they are her weakness, there red squishy noses make her quench at the sight. At knight she comes out and fallows the children home who are playing out late. She can descize her self into this sweet little old woman who needs help untilshe gets to your house and stills your soul. (lol now that's scary), kind of sounds like my dads mom.

           So Christmas is almost here and I'm not even near ready. There are going to be so many things to do. I asked my friend if she had her tree up yet and she said yes, I'm thinking to my self am i the only one who has not putt up a tree yet. My little brother wants a remote controlled plane, "dose that even exist". I know if i ask my mom what she wants for christmas the only thing she will say is "ow honey you don't got to get me anything, just having you here is all i can ask for." Yeah OK mom what ever you say, When we all know you want that pretty little necklace that you seen in the store. Anyway i don't even know what i want, maybe new seat covers for my car will be cool. Wow theres going to be a lot of shopping going on this weekend. Lets see i have Sixteen cousins not including the ones one my dads side. So maybe candy will be there presents this year. I hope Christmas goes as good as last year, My family and i got together at my grandma and grandpasas and when more people showed up meant more presents to receive. I didn't even know half of the people that showed up and they were family. Wow its going to be a busy holiday better get started now. 

10 reasons why dogs are better than cats.

 1. Dogs are better than cats. We got dog cops, rescue dogs, guard dogs, dogs keeping the old people and kids happy, dogs used for the blind, dogs for therapy, and just to use as friends. And what do cats do? Aside from eating, sleeping, pooping, and maybe catching a mouse or two, not much. So if you can give me as many or more reasons cats are better as i have for dogs, I'll gladly give the floor to you
2.Cats can get annoying because when you try to pick them up they will just run away and crawl under a bed while dogs don't.
3.Cats need a litter box to have feices oder and pees and poos.
4.acully listen when you say sit.
5. cats get hairballs and like to pee on furniture.

weekend plans.

So tomorrow I'm going to the movies with my uncle and his son. Yeah were gonna go see twilight...... I'M SO EXITED.  I don't really care for Jacob or Edward i just like the way the storey is. It may be a chick flick but also its action, with people wanting to turn others in vampires and ware wolfs. If i had to choose between Edward or Jacob i would choose Edward because i think hes really cute and stupid at the same time. But anyway i here all these girls say how they have posters hanging up in there room and in there lockers of Edward or Jacob and i think to myself that i will not let myself get that obsess. But i can say one thing i have never in my life seen a guy so pumped up and ready to go see this movie, untill my cuzen found out. I couldnt help my self but laph. lets hope every thing gose great.

doctor trip with grandma and gramdpa. ( NEVER AGIN)...

So i went with my grandmother and grandfather to visit the doctor for a checkup. You will not believe what was said. Well let me give you a little image in your head of what was said that had me dieing laughing in embarrassment.  "Mr. Smith,(my grandpa)  you’re in great shape," says the doctor afterward. "How do you do it?"
"Well," says Mr. Smith, "I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, and the good Lord looks out for me. For weeks now, every time I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, he turns the light on for me."
Concerned, the doctor finds Mrs. Smith( my grandma) in the waiting room and tells her what her what grandpa said.
"I don’t think that’s anything to worry about," grandma says. "And on the bright side, it does explain who’s been peeing in the fridge." After we left i could not keep a straight face when i looked at my grandpa. So now every time i stay over at my grandparents house,every night before i go to bed i half to tell my grandpa  not too pee in the fridge. And with a smile he walks off.

My favorite thing to do is fish. I could fish all day and all knight if i could. Just last weekend i went fishing with my brothers and dad. It was an alright weekend fishing trip until they started to catch all the fish and i couldn't catch any. But it was alright because i just liked the piece and quite. I go fishing all the time in the summer when you couldn't find me at home or at work i was down by the lake fishing. One time my friends and i had a big plan that we were going to go fishing all weekend. But come to find out after driving an hour, we for got the fishing poles. I guess that we got so exited that we lost train of thought. But that didn't stop us. We had extra fishing line in the tackle box and we got some sticks and made our own fishing poles. That weekend turned out pretty awesome and we were very creative.

christmas at grandmas.

So i cant wait till christmas, its my favorit time of the year. christmas to me is wounderfull cuz i get to spend the holiday with my hole family. We get presants, give presants and eat allot. Each year my family and i go to Kentucky to visit my grandma and grandpa  for dinner. Its a family tradition that grandma makes everyone do every year if we like it or not but we go to the soup kitchen and pass out presants to the homeless and give them dinner. to see all the smiles on each and one of there faces putts my grandma in a state of mind that we should give more than you recive. thats why i love christmas so much.

Fun this weekend.

OK so this weekend don't have allot of plans but atleast i have something to do. To start my weekend off I'm gonna go home, get my stuff ready, then wait for my uncle to get home from work. When my uncle gets home I'm going to see if hes still going to take me to my friends house. This specific friend is the person i go to for everything she is so amazing and i love going to her house we have so much fun together. When i get to my friends house, its going to be easy to find out what to to because we have already planned out what we were going to do. First we decided that when i get there her mom said yes that she would take us to Wall Mart so we can get our nails done. Then we will head back to the house. On Saturday we are going to the big family reunion together like we do every year. Last year we had a blast because we had water balloon fights. But unfortunately we cant do that this year because its getting a little to cold out for that. The family reunion usually ends about seven o'clock then we start to head back home. Instead of heading back to her house we decided that after the reunion that we are going to crash at my place. When we get to my house we are going to walk in town and get some things to make cookies with. When we have the cookies made we have a long list of scary movies that we are going to watch. Sunday morning is gonna come along and were going to get up and start a new day by going to my bowling with my grandma and grandpa. After that's all over were going to take my friend home and them Monday morning its back to school.

horses.

Out of all animals im the hole univers my favorit would be a horse. A horse is my favorit animal because  the are so pretty and i love goen horse bach rideing. Sometimes I go and help my grandpa with his horses when i get board, and when i get there i dont want to leave. I have Three horses, two brown horses and a black one. when i get home from school i go out and brush them and clean out there stalls. I enjoy being around horses because i was raised around them. I love going to horse races with my grandpa and watching them run. horses have so many qualitys to them that some people dont even relize. Just last week my older brother came up for a visit and we got on the horses and took off into the woods. We had such a blast. On our way home it was just getting dark and we got lost and didn know ware we were. but luckly, and i dont know how but when we got off our horses they took off because they didnt like the rain and they found the way home with us chaseing behind them. It was a crazy time but we had a blast slippen and sliding in the mudd trying to keep up.

ok so today my horscope read something along the line of when things dont make sence just let it slide. well let me say something today is going as planned anyway so if somethings gonna pop out in the middle of no were and things get worse im not gonna let it slide cuz today had to much sliddn. no its not cuz of friends or of anything at school but of some things that was said about someone who is a great friend to me and im not gonna let it go. what i dont get is that people can set behind someone and talk behind there back but when there comfronted with it they denie it all. To be honest yeah if im gonna say something about someone im gonna tell them cuz i speak my mind i dont just keep it in like most people. Lets just hope this day dosnt get any worse.

The Big Birthday Party

So over the weekend i went to a  real close friend birthday party. It realy didnt go as she or I planned. So anyway to start with, as we wake up we get everything set for the party. 3:00 comes along and people start to show up. Lets just say that there was two people that came who made evrything go bad. Come on do you realy half to fight over a chick at her verry own birthday party. I gues when you realy like someone and your best friend is flerting with her, talk to them about it not go up and start to run your mounth and get things started to imberrace her. But i suppose that they had to make everything evolve around them and the weay they want things to go instead of the main person. After all that went down we got things starightend up and cooled down had some cake and ice cream and watched my friend open her presants. Lets just say that those to will not be at the next party.

my favorit haloween memorie.

 The haloween that i remember the most is the year 2009. Because I had so much fun and my family traveld all the way down here from west verginia, just to spend haloween with us. We all got in our cars and whet to three towns in one day. I this realy big town my family and i got so musch candy we had to keep dumping our bags in to one big one so more candy could fit. The only thing that made that haloween specaial was that we got to have family time that we thought we wouldent get to have for a varry long time but it came quiker than we thoght and we loved it, well atleast I can say I did.

My favorit scary movie is Chain Letter. just he beginning will have your eyes glued to the tv and not wanting to look away. The film opens in a garage with an unconscious young woman having her head wrapped in duct tape and her legs chained to the back of two cars. A man and a woman walk to their cars on their way to work. As the couple start their cars they exit the driveway. The woman in the garage wakes up, frightened; as the man is about to depart, the woman in the car notices the victim, but as she exits her car to warn the man, he drives off.

Neil Conners (cody casch)  receives a chain lette from an anonymous person telling him that he is the first person who links the chain, and instructing him to forward it to five people, or else he will die. His sister Rachael (cherilyn wilson) then barges into his room and forwards the letter, but to only four recipients. Neil then adds his sister to the list and sends it.

Jessica "Jessie" Campbell (nikki reed), best friend of Rachael, gets the letter and forwards it to five friends; Johnny Jones (matt cohen) also receives it but refuses to send it, believing it to be ridiculous. While he is getting a drink of water at the fountain in the gym, a black hooded figure slams his head on the fountain three times and knocks two of his teeth out. Unconscious, he is chained arm-by-arm and leg-by-leg to a gym set and has his bones broken, after which the killer uses the chains to slice his face open, which kills him.

Jessie becomes suspicious as more people start to die. While Rachael is taking a bath, she is attacked in the bathroom by the black hooded figure, who stabs a spear into her head, splitting it open.

Jessie, Neil, and Michael (micheal j. pegan) must now try to stop the murders. A few days later, Jessie attends Rachael's funeral and is greeted by Detective Jim Crenshaw (keith degan), and he tells her to forward the chain letter to him.
Later on, as more people send Neil the message, he panics and decides to delete all of them in order to be able to confront the killer. The killer, however, is on the roof of Neil's room, and sends a chain smashing through his ceiling. Neil dies a bloody death as he gets dragged up to the roof of his house by chains with various sickles and a hook.
It is revealed that the man behind all the killings was a soldier. During the war, he was tortured by the enemy because he had a government-issued cell phone. He returns to the USA severely disfigured and breaks out of a hospital, disappearing. He starts a cult of "anti technology" followers who are marked by bar-code tattoos.
As the film closes, the woman chained to the cars in the beginning is revealed to be Jessie, who is killed because she sent the chain letter to Detective Jim Crenshaw without sending it to four other people. Michael tries to save her, but is too late; when her father pulls out of the parking lot, Jessie is ripped apart.
As the film ends, Detective Jim Crenshaw is shown chained to a table while the killer is making chains. this movie is not realistic, unless there is acully some crazy person who wants to kill you for sending s text message. inn conclutin this movie is a must watch and is my favorit scary movie ever.

yesterday i have read a blog about people judging others. i agree with the whole statement, no matter how much you want to say you didnt we all know that you have judged someone in your life in one point or time, rather you noticed you did or not. some people can say i dont like that shirt on you or, hey your stupid. all of those are judgmental words. i am aginst judging people but i still do it, i cant help it sometimes. people judge others to be cool around friends and just to be mean.

what i think we should rite about.

What I think we should write about is similar to something that we had already written. Sence we had alredy discused how we see our selves in ten years, I think we should blog about, what we plan on doing in our future, and if we had change in thoughts about what we want to become and why we had that chamge in thought. for an example last year I wanted to be a teacher, but now I want to go to school for cosmatology. the reason why I chose to do this instead of teaching is because yes i like to work with children but my pation is hair. I love styling hair and commeing up with new styles. So in conclution this an idea of what we can blog about.

I think that people judge a teen too quickly when they are pregnant. they start to whisper mean things about a girl, like "she's dirty" or something like that,even though they do not know the situation that the person is in,or how they got into that situation. The girls that end up pregnant,  Like 15 year olds, they shouldn't even have sex. It wouldn't happen if they didn't have sex.  teens think you have to have sex to be cool or fit in even worse to make your partner love you more! So if you dont want to get pregnant then its simple, just DONT have sex. just say NO.And if you think that your gonna have sex atleats double bag it.

       No condoms dont protect against teen pregnancy, Some condoms don't always protect it. If ur seriously worried about getting pregnante then get a chasity belt. But wear a condom to stay safe. Dont become a mommy or a daddy.Access to condoms might help prevent a few instances of teen pregnancy, but for better impact, I believe the role of young women on television should be considered. Young women see singers and actresses dressed like "ladies of the night", dancing half naked, using very suggestive moves. That example is followed by younger girls in their hometown, at parties, in the malls, without them fully understanding that what they see on TV is just an act. Teens need to understand the dignity and sanctity of their own body, and in doing so, they will think twice before going to bed and finding themselves pregnant.While condoms do provide some protection against pregnancy, there is always the risk that the condom will fail. Either by ripping during use, or by a flawed condom, there is the chance of semen getting out of the condom and causing pregnancy. So no, condoms - or access to them - do not always prevent teen pregnancies.

However, teenage sexual relations have little to do with parents, and much more to do with teenage culture and pressures from peers. The world of teenagers is governed by different norms and 'rules' than that of parents or mixed groups. Within the teenage group, it is normal to be rebellious and to want to explore things that seem exciting, grown up, or 'cool'. Sex is, and will always be, one of these things. Since the desire to explore sex is a given, the best thing we can do is to provide teens with access to birth control, including condoms. With this, a considerable amount of teenage pregnancy can be prevented, although unfortunately not all. so yes acces to condoms dose prevent teen pregnancy.

             Dose access to condoms prevent teen pregnancy? well there are two sides that can be told to this debate one side seys yes that it can prevwnt and the other side is saying no way. some of the thigs that they will say is yes because they are useing protection and the other said no because it could brake. then theres one side saying yes because the are being responcible about sex and the other seys no because they would decide to not ware one. there are mwny diffrent sides to this stor and many belifes but my opinion there both true becase they can buy the condoms and forgett them and just decide not to ware then or go the other route and ware then and take the risk of it brakeing.

      To me it is important to treat everyone fair rather that equal because, some people desurve better than what most people and some do more wrong than most people. What i am trying to say is that, say if some one killed someone and they got life in prison and then theres someone who just took candy fron the store, what are you going to to give them life in prison also just because that other person got it so you half to do the same to this person just to be fair. so when i say treat people fair i mean treat people they way the desurve to be treated. For instance someone graduated high school and worked hard, had just got into a good college that they desurve to be in, now your not gonna let the other person who just didnt care, and didnt graduate into a realy good college, because they didnt desurve to be there. So this is just an example of what i mean when i say treat people fair and not equaly. To treat someone equal means to treat or to give someone the same as another. To treat someone fair means to  give what they desurve. fair.                

Teaching by the book is not teaching. It's just talking.

   Yes, it is easyer to read out of a book instead of listening to the teacher talk on and on and repeat there selves over and over agin about the same thing they just said ten minutes ago. And when when the teachers do babble on kids just get board and fall asleep. but then it is a good thing because kids arnt going to learn anything by reading the book, about 76% of the kids that read when they are suppost to but then theres that other percent of kids who read half then stop or just dont even do it.  so yeah i think that reading out of the book is not teaching. yes we do obsorg things when we do read but we also need examples and things to go with it not, "hey read this page and it will explane how to do this''. no dont think so. i would like to see fun things going on with the reading i want to see the teachers acully try, mabey putt power points along with the reading and movies that resemble what we are learning. Mabey if teachers try these things then kids of all grade will get there grade up and pay attention alot more, and wont think its just another boring part of the day, and think this is worth my time.in conclution this is why i agree with teaching by the book is not teaching.

2012 Election.com talks about how obama targets tax cuts and extention of uninployment issues. also talks abot how ''The U.S. economy has been hurting for quite some time and the one way to help the nation to get out of this bind would be by coming up with an aggressive plan of action that could not only help stimulate jobs but also help by putting money back into the nations economic system''. honestly my big worry is takeing money away from the elderly's because they are not able to work because of health conditions, so if they dont have  money then hoe are they going to pay medical and house bills. if it was up to me and i was able to take the place of obama i would not do this. bubbles.

bubbles are so amzeing, well at least i think they are. bubbles come in many diffrent colors, for an example- blue, pink green and even purple. i love to play with bubbles. there are also sented bubbles that smell like bubble gum. last christmas santa braght me a big bottle of bubbles. suprizeingly i still have them. sometimes i get realy board and i will get my bubbles and go out side and blow my bubbles. there are tiny bubbles, big bubbles and even huge bubbles.you can also make diffrent shapes with bubbles also.  if you ever go to the store make shure you get bubbles cuz one you get that stick in your hands with a round hole and dip it in the bubbles and start blowing you will never want to stop.  there are pictures of bubbles  down below.....

top ten biggest moments in my life.

1.moment in my life was when i was born. it was special for my family  and there friends and for me also because i was gave life.

2. when i got to go to kings island for the first time and it was so fun i was ten years old and i had a blast. i got to meet cinderella and all teh othr disney charicters.

3. the third big moment in my life was when my little brother was born and i got to hold him for the first time. i wasnt verry excited when i found out that my mom ws haveing another baby, but when she brong him home i was thrilled because i had someone to pick on that was younger than me.

4. the fourth big moment was when i turned i turned thirteen because i was an acual teenager and i thoght that as a big moment.

5. this moment i got to start my first year at high school.

6. the sixth big moment was when my older brother shane got married.

7. at this point it was my sweet sixteen. everyone knows how awsome that is because you get to drive.

8. the seventh big moment was when i became an aunt. this was verry special because it i got to watch them be born it was a realy special moment.

1.  king arthur pulling the sword out of the stone. its starts by a boy named arthur whome is the son of a king who pulls a sword out of this big rock and becomes  king. he  makes war aginst the saxons and defeats then and everyone exepts him as king. this is fake becuse there is no way the is a sword in a stone and only one peson can pull it out and be the strongest person in the wourld.

2. cinderella. its about the girl  has two evill stepp sisters and a wicked stepp mother and she is like there made, the stepp mother wont lett her go to the ball so this god mother shows up and turns her into a realy pritty princess and she goes to the ball with out them knowing and at midnight the spell will go away and turn back to the way it was and when it was time she ran down stairs and lost her shoe. when she lost her shoe the prince finds it and sends out a servent to find the girl that fits the shoe and marrys her then lives haply ever after. this is fake because you can not turn mice into horse and there is no such thing as magic.

3.headless horseman. well its about a man who has no head who goes around killing people. well for one if yuo havae no head then you are dead. and yuo cant be ridding a hore if you dead plus you have no head or eyes to see were you are going.

4. land of the dead. zombies comeing alive and eating peoples brains. when you get bit you turn into a blood sucker to. this is not real because dead people can t come up out of the ground  once they are dead and start feasting on people.

Ok so I love going to google and looking up funny pics. Some of the things that show up will just make you laph so hard thatg you half to look twise. Sometimes when im realy board I will do this and I will just be laphing so hard that my dad would come down stairs and ask me if I was dying. Oe of the most funiest things that I have seen would probrably be the pic were this old man has pig tails and he looks just like a girl. That pic is listed below. I would recamend everyone to google funny pics because it will make your day. some pics that i found is below. The artical is abot possibly makeing longer school days, and makeing school year start before Labor Day or holding classes after Memorial Day. The artical also has other peopls feelings about the situation. My appinion on the whole thing is that I do not like the idea because I think that the school days are alredy long, and dont need to be longer. Takeing away from breaks that we already have is not going to make students verry happy because most students already dont like going to school and makeing school on those days will realy make them not want to go even more. Teachers and principles wnat to make school fun so that kids will enjoy being there, but this is not the way to do it. I think that if this dose pass most kids will get home schooled.

Rading is never fun.

My second least favorit thing to do is read. Reading is so boring to me because I realy dont have the patience to sit and read a whole bunch of words that I will not remember next day. Reading to me is just something that I do if it was in school and getting a grade on it. But otherwise if it was for anything else, no it would be out of the question. I cant understand how people can sit and read a 200 page book and not get tired of it, because I would. books are not interesting to me at all. My cuzen for an example can read for hours and hours and I would just sit there and be like your out of your mind. Even in school if I read a book I would be alright for like the first two pages and then I would be falling asleep. If it is a book that has pictures in it and that are realy funny, thats when I will pick it up without being asked or told to. To the people who love to read and can read for hours at a time without getting board of the book, and arnt ready to putt it down within five minutes into it, all I got to say is more power to you, because that will never be me.

niagra falls.

Niagra falls is a place i would love to go. http://infoniagara.com/  talks about how niagra falls is one of the richest areas in all of Canada. and has a awsome picture on what niagra falls looks like. http://www.niagarafallsstatepark.com/ talks about how many people had came all oveer the would just to see the niagra falls stae park for over many years. niagra falls is a place i would like to go because in the articles that i have seen it shows allot of pics of the waters and i want to see that in person close up. when going to see the water fall you get to go on a boat in the middle of the waters and feel the mist off the waterfall and have that once in a lifetime experiance. hope you like the blogg and, and you can also look at more about niagra falls on on other sites.

sometthing else that entrest me is art. i love to draw, paint and take pictures. some people think that its boring but i think that its verry interesting. just seeing some of the picture that you thought you couldent draw but did is a realy good feeling. i also like goeing to art showes and looking at everyones art. some pictures you might not be able to make out but you know that they have a storie behind them. it could be a realy hot boring day and i would go outside on the porch, stay in my room or on the trampoline and just draw.it calms my mind and sometimes it just gives me something to do. some other arts that i like to do is things that involves clay. so basicly anything that involves art i love. 

cursive writeing no longer a requirement.

The Ohio Department of Education removed cursive from the state's core curriculum because they say that "writing methods is replaced by the more modern keyboarding to get elementary students familiar with writing on a computer keyboard". on the website  http://www.daytondailynews.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/dayton/education/entries/2011/08/08/cursive_writing.html it also talks about how some people think that cursive is an" art that’s going to be lost". my thoughts on cursive no longer being a requirement is kind of mixed, because in a way i like the thought of it no longer being there because itd easyer to do with spell check and all and dont got to look your words up in the dictionarry. Then i think its just people being lazy because, substituteing the teachers and replaceing it with technology is not the way to do it because most people learn better when it is person to person and some dont. but what im trying to say is that it has been taut for a long time and i dont think that they should stop now because peop-le think that a computer can teach it better. technology is just an excuse.

hurricane irene.
